Fusion Media was founded by Adam Tranter in 2008. We are an integrated communications agency for active people. Our agency is underpinned by unbeatable knowledge within cycling, running and active travel – and a passion to get people active through sport, recreation and transport. We are a boutique agency, therefore small enough to be agile, responsive and flexible to our client’s needs.
Role: Account Manager
Salary: £30-£35,000, based on experience
Hours of Work: 9am-6pm Monday to Friday (40 hours per week) Location: London Bridge (Office attendance required 1-2 days per week)
This is an exciting time at Fusion, as we are growing fast as an agency. The role as an Account Manager will be a varied one, working across 5-6 of Fusion’s clients to support their business objectives. You will be a self-starter and a strong coordinator, working with your account team, to deliver day-to-day account management alongside delivering larger campaigns as required.
Working as part of a growing team, the successful candidate will be comfortable leading on a variety of different clients and projects. They will have excellent relationship skills, be organised and have strong attention to detail. The candidate should be a self-starter and be confident taking a lead and managing junior staff.
Execution will vary from client to client, but the candidate will need to be comfortable at working on the account strategy, driving day-to-day media coverage, alongside planning and delivering larger PR & Influencer campaigns.
We pride ourselves on the strong relationships we have with both our clients and stakeholders, therefore an important part of your role will be to maintain and grow these relationships.
We are an agile and results-driven agency, so the ability to work across multiple fast-moving projects, managing client expectations and meet deadlines is essential.
Day to Day Tasks
Your primary job as Project Manager is to ensure high quality deliverables make it to clients on time and within budget. This will include:
- Strong administrative and project management skills
- Excellent account management skills
- A strong understanding of the media, editorial requirements and what makes a good story
- Experience of delivering impactful campaigns from inception through to
delivery - High level of writing skills and ability to adapt style and tone of voice for different audiences
- Ability to demonstrate creativity and innovative thinking
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- A self starter, able to work independently, whilst maintaining team role
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Strong presentation skills
Experience
- Two years relevant experience in PR agency, or role with transferable skills
- Direct line management of account executives and junior staff
Required Skills
- Relationships – We are a relationship-based business. You will be a key contact for clients over the phone, by email or in person, so you will need to be approachable in communication whilst remaining professional.
- Showing initiative – Found a better way to do something? Got an idea? We are looking for someone who is keen to push the boundaries and think outside the box.
- Juggling workload – You will work across multiple clients and often to tight deadlines. You will need to work efficiently whilst ensuring your work is delivered to a high standard.
